Three Valleys: The New Skiing Gem of Central Asia

The Three Valleys project is an ambitious initiative aiming to establish Kyrgyzstan as a world-class skiing destination. Located in the majestic mountains south of Lake Issyk-Kul, near the city of Karakol, this ski resort will feature an impressive 200 kilometers of slopes and around thirty ski lifts. Comparable to Swiss resorts like Zermatt, it is expected to attract up to 850,000 tourists annually once completed by 2035.

Development Phases

The first phase of the project, with an initial investment of $165 million, will include 60 kilometers of ski slopes, six ski lifts, and modern hotel infrastructure. The grand opening is scheduled for December 2026.

A Natural Paradise

This region is known for its breathtaking landscapes, featuring peaks over 5,000 meters high, deep valleys, and unique biodiversity. Nearby, Lake Issyk-Kul, one of the largest alpine lakes in the world, offers stunning views and year-round outdoor activities.

A Boost for Tourism and the Local Economy

With the construction of Three Valleys, Kyrgyzstan aims to diversify its tourism sector and boost the local economy by creating new jobs and infrastructure.
