Traveling by motorcycle in Kyrgyzstan allows us to explore its most emblematic corners, from the ancient ruins of Burana to the majestic peaks of the Tian Shan Mountains. We will explore impressive alpine lakes such as Song-Kul, immersing ourselves in their natural beauty and enjoying the serenity of their shores. We will learn about the nomadic traditions of Kyrgyzstan, interacting with local communities and experiencing their unique hospitality. Along the way, we will pass through spectacular gorges and valleys. The exquisite Kyrgyz cuisine will delight us as we immerse ourselves in the warmth of the local people.

The stages vary between 120 km and 450 km depending on the difficulty of the route and the interests of the same. It is normal to ride between 4 and 6 hours a day.

The road surface is not in poor condition. The driving is not aggressive. The speed at which we drive is always moderate, allowing us to get used to it quickly and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Some main roads are not paved but are very well maintained.

Health, accident and repatriation insurance is mandatory. Our motorcycles have a third party accident insurance.

In the case of motorcycle tours, the guide is in Spanish. Jordi, better known in networks as "León Bocanegra" has extensive experience as a long distance traveler and offroad specialist. Helmet, jacket, pants, gloves and boots. Trail boots are ideal or at least half-round hard road boots. In the road equipment do not forget a rain jacket. We recommend a jacket with ventilated trail pockets and ventilated pants. The road helmet is valid but also the enduro helmet. Modular helmets allow you to take better pictures.

Yes, we can provide two seats in the support vehicle for companions who do not ride the motorcycle. Possibility of an independent vehicle for accompanying persons. Between 2 and 6 people comfortably (Consult us).

No. Kyrgyzstan does not require a visa for Spanish citizens for stays of less than 60 days. For other EEC and Latin American citizens, please consult. Necessary requirements. Passport valid for 6 months. Completed immigration form handed out on the plane. Air ticket to leave the country. Countries around similar, ask before.

There is no mandatory vaccination for Spaniards in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asian countries. Mandatory yellow fever vaccine for endemic countries. It is always advisable to have tetanus, hepatitis and typhoid vaccines.

In Kyrgyzstan all selected accommodations have a special charm, selected for some reason always. We will use the establishments indicated in the program or of the same category.

In Kyrgyzstan you can have all different climates on the same day. In July and August it is hot and dry, but in the mountains the weather is unpredictable. Outside the central summer months always bring warm clothes. It usually snows from November onwards.

Kyrgyzstan and the surrounding countries are very safe, politically stable and have a low rate of common crime.

Normally from Europe you fly via Istanbul. There are no direct flights from Spain. The price is around 450 euros round trip, and the total transfer time is about 12 hours.

– The route may change depending on the weather and circumstances beyond the organization’s control.
– Accommodation conditions in the yurt camps and in some villages follow the nomadic model (4-6 people per yurt/room, shared outdoor bathroom and summer shower.
– Bring your own motorcycling gear, suit, protections, helmet and boots.
– The weather in the mountains is cold, so please bring warm clothes.
– Headache and stomach medicine is recommended.

Itinerary

Day 1. Airport - Bishkek
50 Km
Arrival in Bishkek. Meeting with the guide at Manas international airport. Transfer to hotel. Free time to visit Bishkek on your own. Breefing of the route by the guide in the afternoon/evening.

Day 2. Bishkek – Kyzyl Oi
200 Km
The village of Kyzl Oi is located on the Bishkek - Osh highway. This road connects the north and south of the country. This village is quite different from other villages in Kyrgyzstan. Unlike many others, Kyzl Oi has existed since before the great socialist revolution and therefore has characteristic Central Asian features such as red mud houses. Kyzyl-Oi is situated in the narrow gorge of the mighty Kokomeren River some 40km south of Suusamyr between Kochkor and Son-Kol Lake (both in the Naryn region) and 200km from Bishkek and at 1800m. Here the valley opens up through the red mountains and is called Kyzyl. Lodging and dinner in Guesthouse.

Day 3. Kyzyl Oi – Son Kul
150 Km
Transfer to the mountains surrounding Lake Son-Kul (3016 m) via Karakeche. Free time at leisure. In the afternoon we can take a walk around "The last lake", 3016m high and home to nomadic shepherds. Here we are in the center of Kyrgyzstan. Surrounded by a high mountain plateau, Son-Kul is treeless. The meadows are rich, and are therefore used by the shepherds of Kochkor, Naryn and At-Bashi as summer pastures for their herds. Overnight and dinner in Yurtas.

Day 4. Son Kul – Tash Rabat
Today we head to the impressive 15th century caravansarai, our hidden gem. The road is mainly dirt but accessible for beginners. On the way we will enjoy a fantastic view of the mountains of Kyrgyzstan. Lunch. Overnight and dinner in hotel surrounded by high altitude mountains.

Day 5. Tash Rabat – Kaji Sai

After breakfast we will drive south to the largest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Issyk Kul - nicknamed, "The Pearly Gates of Central Asia". Issyk-Kul lake is 182 kilometers long, up to 60 kilometers wide and occupies an area of 6,236 square kilometers. It is the second largest mountain lake in the world after Lake Titicaca in America. It is located 1,607 meters above sea level and in some areas it reaches 668 meters deep. The southern shore of the lake lies in the shadow of the beautiful Ala-Too peak which is part of the Tian Shan mountain range.

Day 6. Kaji Sai – Karakol

Breakfast. Today we will drive along the southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. On the way we will stop at Skazka Gorge, Barskoon falls and Broken Heart in Jety Oguz (Seven Bulls), impressive mountains. If we have time we can make cultural visits to a Dungan church and a wooden orthodox cathedral without nails. Overnight stay in a 3* hotel in Karakol.

Day 7. Karakol – Grigorievka
110 Km
After breakfast, we will drive along the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. Our destination point is Grigoriev Gorge ("Chon Ak Suu" big white water) is a long picturesque gorge. The gorge is famous for its wooded slopes and three mountain lakes. We will also visit the neighboring Semenov Gorge (Kyrchyn) due to its easy access and breathtaking beauty. Overnight in ecological Yurt.

Day 8. Grigorievka – Bishkek
298 Km
After breakfast we will drive to Bishkek through the beautiful Boom Gorge. The Boom Gorge cuts from north to south through a range of the Tian Shan mountain systems. The eastern part of the gorge is called Kyungey Ala-Too and the western part is called Kyrgyz Ala-Too. We will also see part of the railway that connects Bishkek and Balykchy cities, a 1948 railway that runs 180 km through Kyrgyzstan. We will continue along the road connecting Chui with the Issyk-Kul region through the Boom Gorge. Overnight and dinner in a 4* hotel. Farewell dinner.
