The most adventurous tour that explores Tajikistan in depth. The Pamir is a region with its own personality and culture where the most legendary roads in the world run. We will visit the Iskander-Kul Lake, which means “The Lake of Alexander the Great”, the Fann Mountains and cities with more than 2300 years of history. Lake Kara Kul, the border with Afghanistan in the Wakan corridor and see how the Afghans live, with their adobe houses without electricity or drinking water and their green orchards… or reach Langar and see its green valley after the lunar landscape is an experience you will never forget.

The stages vary between 120 km and 450 km depending on the difficulty of the route and the interests of the same. It is normal to ride between 4 and 6 hours a day.

The road surface is not in poor condition. The driving is not aggressive. The speed at which we drive is always moderate, allowing us to get used to it quickly and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Some main roads are not paved but are very well maintained.

Health, accident and repatriation insurance is mandatory. Our motorcycles have a third party accident insurance.

In the case of motorcycle tours, the guide is in Spanish. Jordi, better known in networks as "León Bocanegra" has extensive experience as a long distance traveler and offroad specialist. Helmet, jacket, pants, gloves and boots. Trail boots are ideal or at least half-round hard road boots. In the road equipment do not forget a rain jacket. We recommend a jacket with ventilated trail pockets and ventilated pants. The road helmet is valid but also the enduro helmet. Modular helmets allow you to take better pictures.

No. Kyrgyzstan does not require a visa for Spanish citizens for stays of less than 60 days. For other EEC and Latin American citizens, please consult. Necessary requirements. Passport valid for 6 months. Completed immigration form handed out on the plane. Air ticket to leave the country. Countries around similar, ask before.

There is no mandatory vaccination for Spaniards in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asian countries. Mandatory yellow fever vaccine for endemic countries. It is always advisable to have tetanus, hepatitis and typhoid vaccines.

In Kyrgyzstan all selected accommodations have a special charm, selected for some reason always. We will use the establishments indicated in the program or of the same category.

In Kyrgyzstan you can have all different climates on the same day. In July and August it is hot and dry, but in the mountains the weather is unpredictable. Outside the central summer months always bring warm clothes. It usually snows from November onwards.

Kyrgyzstan and the surrounding countries are very safe, politically stable and have a low rate of common crime.

Normally from Europe you fly via Istanbul. There are no direct flights from Spain. The price is around 450 euros round trip, and the total transfer time is about 12 hours.

Additional notes

– In Tajikistan, in some places, there is no hotel or guesthouse. They will be rooms for family stays with simple amenities (shower and toilet outside, or no shower), sleeping on the floor.
– Please bring your sleeping bags, warm clothes, some medicines.
– There may be some small changes in the program due to unforeseen circumstances (border problems, domestic flights, weather, road repairs, hotel availability, etc.).

Day 2. Biskek - Toktogul

After breakfast, we will drive to Toktogul via the Bishkek-Osh road, the most popular road among locals heading to the southern part of Kyrgyzstan. The road is scenic - first it goes along the Kara-Balta river reaching the top of the Too-Ashu pass 3,200 meters, then descends to the Suusamyr valley, located at an altitude of about 2000 meters. Through the river gorge you can reach Chychkan gorge in Toktogul valley, where Toktogul reservoir is located. Overnight at the guesthouse. Rest and hike along the Naryn River flowing between the cliffs of the Tien Shan mountain range.

Day 3. Toktogul – Osh

After breakfast, transfer to Osh, the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan. City tour. Osh is the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan, located in the Fergana Valley in the south of the country, it is often called "the capital of the south". It is the oldest city in the country (estimated to be over 3000 years old). A short walk through the city - depending on the weather. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4. Osh – Murgab

Murghob is the capital of the Murghob district in the Pamir Mountains of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, Tajikistan. It is the highest town in Tajikistan (and the former Soviet Union) at 3,650 meters above sea level. It is located at the junction of the Murghab River and the Pamir Highway. Here the majority of the population are Tajiks (80%) and Kyrgyz (20%) and are engaged in herding. Overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 5. Murghab - Langar
After breakfast, we will cross the village of Wrang in the direction of Langar. Wrang is amazing and unique in the Pamir area. Above the village, on a high cliff, is a 4th-7th century Buddhist worship complex carved into the rock consisting of a series of three-story stone stupas overlooking the courtyard, surrounded by a high wall with towers. Concludes the Tajik part of the Wakhan Valley in Langar, a large and exotic village. Langar - the highest mountain village in the southern Pamir in the Wakhan Valley, located at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level. It is always cold and windy. Accommodation in local homestay.

Day 6. Langar - Khorog
After breakfast, transfer to Khorog, the capital of Gorno-Badakhshan. Khorog is also the capital of the Shughnon district of Gorno-Badakhshan. The city is bounded on the south (Nivodak) and north (Tem) by the Shakhdara and Gunt deltas, respectively. Due to being located inside a deep canyon, the city is protected from the strong winds and severe low temperatures of winter. Summer in Khorog is relatively warm and dry. We will also visit the city museum, a museum dedicated to the history of the Badakshant-Mountain region and the city market. Then the terraces of the Shahdary River and the Pamir Botanical Garden, ranked second in the world in terms of height (after a botanical garden in Nepal), which has unique flora from different corners of the globe. Day 7. Khorog - Khalaihumb (Kalai - Khum)

Early breakfast and drive to Khalaihumb. This region is more religious (Islamic) than the previous ones, you can see it in the women's dresses and the conservative beards of the men. We will cross the mountain pass to Kalai-Khum and the landscape and people will change again. The people here are Pamir people, not Tajiks, they are a series of separate tribal groups with their own languages. Overnight in guesthouse.

Day 8. Khalaihumb - Dushanbe

In the morning we will drive to one of the most attractive cities in Central Asia. Dushanbe has an incredible mountain backdrop and is dotted with candy-colored neoclassical buildings and tree-lined avenues. Once considered one of the most dangerous areas in the region, the Tajik capital is flourishing and transforming into one of its most pleasant cities. Dushanbe means Monday in Persian. The city is so named because it was created from a village that originally had a popular market on Mondays. The main attractions in Dushanbe are the National Museum of Antiquities of Tajikistan, the statue of Somoni, the Hissar Fort, the Victory Park, Ballet and Opera, the Rudaki statue and the Museum of Archaeology. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9. Dushanbe – Iskandarkul

Lake Iskandarkul is located in the foothills of the Hissar mountain range. Turquoise, calm and surrounded by the great Fann mountain ranges, it is known far beyond the borders of Tajikistan. It is one of the most spectacular and picturesque places in the Fann Mountains. There is almost no aquatic life in the lake due to the high concentration of minerals and only small loaches survive in such waters. The lake is named after the great military leader and conqueror Alexander the Great, who is said to have passed the lake on his way to India. Iskander is the Persian equivalent of Alexander, while kul means lake in many Turkic languages. Overnight in guesthouse.

Day 10. Iskanderkul – Khujand

Khujand is the country's second largest city and is one of its oldest cities, founded some 2,300 years ago during the time of Alexander the Great. It is located in Syr Darya, at the mouth of the Fergana Valley, and was an important city along the ancient Silk Road. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11. Khujand - Osh

Transfer to Kazarman. This village is in a small valley along the Naryn river, at the junction of the Ferghana range and the Moldo-Too mountains. It is connected to the settlements of the region by roads. There is a harsh winter, especially during heavy snowfalls, so Kazarman is sometimes isolated from civilization. You can reach Kazarman only from mid-July to mid-August, as in September the first snow falls here, which makes it difficult to move vehicles on the passes. Overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 13. Kazarman – Son Kul

Early transfer to the mountain lake Son-Kul (3016 m altitude above sea level) through. Immersion in the life of nomads. Free time at leisure. In the afternoon we will be able to taste and observe the preparation of traditional dishes. Night in yurts.
